Standard LTE Cat.6 Modem Replacement

Effective 31st of December 2022 NetModule is starting to replace the standard Cat. 6 LTE cellular modem for the regions EMEA, NA and APAC due to component shortage resp. end-of-life situation. This change will affect the specification of the LTE & GNSS feature set of our products with mPCIe modules.

NB1800, NB1810, NB2800, NB2810, NB3800 Product Update, Standard LTE Cat. 6 Modem upgrade

The change will affect all NB1800, NB1810, NB2800, NB2810, NB3800 products with product option “-Ld” (EMEA, NA region LTE Cat. 6), “-Lc” (APAC region LTE Cat. 6) and “-G” (Standard GNSS). These products contain mPCIe modules. The cellular modem is changed from Sierra Wireless MC7455 and MC7430 to Telit LN920A12-WW (worldwide, LTE Cat. 12) with product option “–Lp“.
