Product Change Notice: 5G Modem Firmware Update to Version 38.03.X82

Summary

The firmware version 38.03.X82 for Telit FN980 modem series has been released by Telit. NetModule has qualified the new firmware for use with NetModule products. The following NRSW releases are compatible with this firmware version:

• 4.8.0.100 or higher
• 4.9.0.100 or higher

NetModule recommends updating the FN980 5G modem with firmware version 38.03.X82

Affected Products

Products NB18x0, NB28x0 and NB3800 with product options “-N” for 5G based on Telit FN980 modem are affected.

Several enhancements have been implemented by the modem manufacturer with firmware version 38.03.X82 for these fields:
