This release incorporates several changes and updates which are depicted as follows
Features added
- Enhanced Notifications and Warnings β Notifications and warnings have been redesigned and rearranged to provide a clearer, more intuitive experience, improving usability and ensuring important information is more easily accessible.
- Platform Status Overview β A new status page provides a comprehensive overview of system health.
- Platform Version and Device Update Notifications β Notifications for new platform versions, device software, and module firmware are now available. Additionally, enhanced update assistance is provided for devices when new software or module firmware is added to the platform.
- Configuration Comparison β The compare function has been enhanced to support intuitive comparison of all configuration types.
Improvements
- Dashboard Refresh behavior β Sometimes the refresh of data on the dashboard caused the screen to flicker, which is no longer the case now.
- Docker log rotation - Preventing the serverβs disk from running out of space, Docker log rotation is recommended to be configured. How to do that is described in the CS Instruction Manual.
- Updated Components β Components being part of CS have been updated to comply with latest security definitions.
- NRSW based device logging β Commands being executed by CS on NRSW based devices, are being logged in their device log including its corresponding context information.
Bugs fixed
Various Bugs have been fixed in this release. The most relevant for users are listed below (list is non exhaustive).
- CS-4262 β Logging-in to devices through the Web-Proxy with certain NRSW versions was not possible in some cases, which is corrected now.
- CS-4263 β The NB1810 device models used to be displayed as NB1800. This has changed now, so that they show up as NB1810 in Connectivity Suite.
- CS-4391 β Resolved an issue where certificate settings were incorrectly applied during migration (v2.x to v3.x), defaulting to fresh installation values (3 months instead of 10 years)
- CS4394 - Addressed an issue where, under certain conditions, the HTTPS certificate source was not correctly migrated. This affected only 2.x customers not using Let's Encrypt for HTTPS certificates.
