The releases 4.6.0.100, 4.5.0.107, 4.4.0.114 and 4.3.0.115 have been published. With NRSW 4.6 there are significant new features for the NetModule Router Software.
New Features
- IPv6
WAN interfaces (WWAN, WLAN and Ethernet) and services that connect over the WAN now support IPv6 - Opportunistic Wireless Encryption (OWE)
OWE encrypts the traffic between client and access points in open WiFi networks without authentication and thus increases the level of confidentiality for the users of these WiFi networks - Support for Letβs Encrypt
This service allows the user to automatically issue TLS certificates for the web interface of the router using the PKI provided by Let's Encrypt. If HTTPS is enabled, the web interface will automatically use the right certificate, if Let's Encrypt is enabled - Setting the WLAN transmit power
The equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) of the WLAN modules can now be adjusted in order to compensate for antenna gain and cable loss - Seamless re-encryption with IPsec IKEv2
IKEv2 requires regular re-keying. The new option "make-before-break" allows to initiate the re-keying before the keys expire and while the connection is still established to avoid disconnections
