Therefore, it is important to collect real-time data about the location, fuel consumption, driver behavior, machine health status and others to optimize business and save costs.For this purpose, NetModule has developed the NG800 - this multifunctional IoT gateway in IP65 housing is suitable for harsh environments and offers the necessary stable communication between on-board vehicle equipment and cloud applications. The modular concept of software, electronics and mechanical components allows optimization for specific target applications.
With an innovative housing concept, NetModule was able to achieve a high degree of modularity, which makes it possible to produce different variations of the device in smaller series and it enables repair and maintenance work on the device.
The NG800 enables Wireless communication with a LTE Cat 4 modem, two SIM slots, WiFi 802.11abgn as client or small in-vehicle access point; GNSS Dead Reckoning, IMU and Bluetooth. Additional interfaces can be set up with an optional customer-specific module. Alternatively, other connectors such as M12 are also possible.
