Wired Extension Modules
Compile your use case specific product variant with additional interface extension
The NetModule Router architecture is based on a modular concept that allows a high degree of product customization. Providing a product family specific number of slots on the router main board, the device may be extended with up to six modules.
Description
We offer the following extension modules:
- CAN interfaces for M2M communication or vehicle onboard communication over J1939 / FMS standard
- RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces for operational or HMI console usage
- Audio with Push to Talk functionality for emergency calls, driver communication over GSM or VoIP
- Mass storage to keep up to 1TB of data on the router, e.g. offline media or log data
- Serial IBIS interface to communicate with onboard information systems
Further modules are currently under development:
- Isolated digital in/out to directly manage events of other devices or sensors
- FXS analog telephony interface card for voice gateway functionality
- Push-to-Talk providing interfaces for radio replacememt over cellular networks
All product variants are assembled and verified by NetModule to ensure type approvals and the standard conformity.
